Felseneggbahn

The Felseneggbahn takes visitors from Adliswil up to Felsenegg – around 800 metres above sea level – in just five minutes. Enjoy the views from this magnificent vantage point and explore the wide range of leisure activities on offer

Operations

The Felseneggbahn has been operated by Sihltal Zürich Uetliberg Bahn (SZU) since 1954, and is part of the Zurich Transport Network (ZVV).

Passengers

The Felseneggbahn has transported more than 12 million passengers to date.

Landi cable car

Cabins from the 1939 Landi cable car were put to use again when the Felseneggbahn started operating in December 1954.

Fun fact

The Felseneggbahn is one of the few mountain cable cars that carries more passengers downhill than uphill.
